Cozy Cabins at Bryce

Day 1

Fly in to Las Vegas’ McGarren International Airport, where we’ll meet you at 1 pm. Then tour Utah’s remarkable countryside as we drive to Bryce National Park, a fairyland of rock formations. Settle into your western cabin with a gas fireplace, just a two-minute walk to amazing canyon-rim views. We’ll enjoy dinner together at the park lodge.

Bryce Hoodoos

Day 2

On our unforgettable morning hike, trek 3.5 miles through Bryce Canyon’s hoodoos, towering rock spires that create a geologic fantasyland. After the hike, we’ll drive nearby to four of the park’s most picturesque overlooks, with short jaunts to take in views. Dinner at a favorite local restaurant treats you to down-home cooking and fresh pie.

Hiking Bryce Canyon

Day 3

Walk to the canyon rim to watch the sun’s first rays play a light show with the hoodoos. Then enjoy free time at the cabin and lodge or mount up for an optional horseback ride through the beautiful red rocks and pristine wilderness of Losee Canyon. You’ll ride past an old outlaw hideout and explore countryside galloped by Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch 100 years ago. At the ride’s half-way point, we’ll stretch our legs and listen to wranglers tell tall tales. Then we’re all off to jaw-dropping scenery as we drive to Zion National Park and dinner in the park lodge. Our rooms’ private balconies overlook Zion’s majesty.

Utah countryside

Day 4

Ranked as one of the Southwest’s 10 best hikes, your morning walk offers incredible vistas of Zion Canyon…and bragging rights. Follow the trail’s switchbacks 2 miles up Zion Canyon’s west wall and Walter’s Wiggles to breathtaking views at Scout Lookout. If you dare (although we don’t advise it), you can climb 1/2 mile further up the arched backbone of Angels Landing, where chains serve as handholds for the rocky trail that narrows to three feet, with 1,000-foot plunges on either side. After that hike, you’ll have the chance to savor another panoramic overlook on a 1-mile round-trip hike. We’ll dine at a restaurant, where the yummy food and ambience have made it a local legend.

Hiking "The Narrows"

Day 5

National Geographic ranks this hike through "The Narrows" as #5 of America’s Best 100 Adventures: Conditions permitting, we’ll walk through knee-deep water of the Virgin River as it winds through narrow, sculptedsandstone canyon walls that tower hundreds of feet on either side. (Water levels are carefully monitored to ensure our safety.) As a group, we’ll then enjoy dinner at a favorite restaurant in nearby Springdale.

Zion’s valley

Day 6

This delightful morning hike takes you to three spring-fed pools, several small waterfalls, and views of Zion Canyon. Then it’s off to Kolob Canyon’s spectacular red canyons and awe-inspiring vistas, where we’ll savor a scenic drive and a hike to Taylor Creek and natural arches. Dinner is at the area’s trendiest spot.

Day 7

Return home with fond memories, new friends, and a renewed love for the great outdoors. We’ll drive you through lovely Utah landscape back to Las Vegas for your afternoon flight home.
